- The maximum capacity of the Casita is four guests.
- Casita lodging requires a $20 per night, non-refundable deposit with the balance due 5 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations outside 5 days prior to arrival forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations within 5 days of arrival forfeit the entire amount of the lodging cost.

We don’t serve breakfast, but your casita comes equipped with all the pots, pans, and dishes you need to make your own or come by our coffee shop which opens at 7:00 a.m.!

While we strongly support the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, gun ownership comes with personal responsibility. If you choose to bring a firearm on our property, here are our requirements:
- The possession of a firearm must be concealed; please, no open carry.
- The gun owner is responsible for the proper storage, handling, and security of the firearm at all times.
- The gun must not be left unattended at any time while in the casita or on FFOC premises.
Should FFOC become aware of these rule violations, guests may be asked to leave the property without refund.

We had a great visit! The casita and grounds are beautiful!! Carolyn greeted us on arrival at the office and gave us great tips on what to see in the area while we wait to check in. The drive into Big Bend State Park was gorgeous! Our guide did a great job on our 8 hour River Road tour! It was definitely an adventure and we saw and learned so much. Thanks for all you do!!
Everyone was helpful esp the house keeper loved loved the house keeping service!!! The Atv guide was great too ! We would come back here in a heartbeat !!!! Hopefully soon ! I’ve told my friends about your place already thank you so much! Loved the fresh clean luxurious bedding.
We did not plan any activities with you, but our stay was wonderful. One of the few places we have stayed that EVERYTHING FUNCTIONED. From appliances, to outdoor grills, hottub, fire ring, etc. And the whole place was clean. So many times we have stayed somewhere & amenities are in the ad, but don’t work or are not even there. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would stay again if in the area. (On another note, not glad we can when we did–came home to a 4 day stay in the house from sub-freezing temps.) Thank you for everything.
Very nice grounds with great stargazing and amenities (pool, firepit, etc.) Love this as a jumping off point for Big Bend NP. We will do some activities with you next time. Thanks!
The place was amazing! Very clean and comfortable casita. Loved the back porch with the rockers. The grounds were very well kept and provided great birdwatching. I didn’t travel with kids, but it is very kid friendly – pool, games, fire pit
Our stay was perfect! We loved hanging at the fire pit with other guests. The rooms were spotless and the rocking chairs on the front porch were a great touch. Will definitely recommend.
We LOVED our stay! Everything was great and we are PICKY, high maintenance girly girls! We all hope we are able to get that way again and will be excited to join yall again. Randy was an awesome addition to our trip and the guides were all very knowledgeable and personable. Just cant say enough about how much we enjoyed our time. We were also very impressed by how clean and kept the grounds are. The pool and picnic areas were fabulous as well.

We came as a group for business meetings, and every expectation was met or exceeded. Valynda set us up from the beginning. Jennifer and the rest of the staff were very attentive to our requests, and took care of any issues almost immediately. The rooms were nicely appointed, very clean and airy. The Oasis meeting room was perfect for our needs, even set up for Zoom meetings. The swimming ?♀️ pool added the perfect touch to the warm days. Highly recommend for individuals, couples, families or groups.

Wow, first got home on Saturday and on Tuesday ran into a friend and he will be calling soon to come stay! that should tell you how great the experience was. Now for staff; the office staff I think her name was Eileen was fantastic on the phone and while there, Eden on the jeep tour was wonderful, Daniel on the float trip was equally wonderful, Grumpy was even fun to banter with, (yes I am the one with the grumpy cap!). We will be back!!!!!!! Ran into two staff in pool area Sarah and Liv super nice ladies also.
We cannot say enough good things about Far Flung and our adventure! The property is so well thought out from the moment you pull onto the property. From coffee & muffins to activities & your surroundings, it was a pleasure staying in our casita at Far Flung in Terlingua. There is so much to do from sunrise to sunset, and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to come back for another adventure, hiking, kayaking and ATVs, oh my!!
The Casita was beautiful and perfect for us. The beds were so comfortable. Good coffee and hot chocolate on site was such a great start for our mornings. The guides on the river really made our trip enjoyable… going out of their way to make it as easy as possible, chat on the river, take pictures, etc.. Can’t remember their names, it was the 8:30 am river trip on June 15, and one was the grandson of the owners. He made me laugh when I asked how hard it was to get this job.
My 3 grandchildren and I stayed in Casita 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and roomy and the grounds were just amazing and beautiful. Thank you for a great experience.
